I am a mature experienced dog minder. I look after small dogs and never have any more than two dogs in my home (usually just one) at the same time. This means that your dog will receive lots of care and attention. I did have a Border Collie of my own who was a rescue dog from Assisi. He was thirteen when he had to be put to sleep. We had him for eleven of those years. I was so distressed at that time I felt unable to get another dog. I had looked after friends dogs whilst they were on holiday and it was they who suggested I become I dog sitter.

It has been one of the best things I have ever done. I have six dogs who return to me each year (not all at the same time!!) while their owners are on holiday. I also have others who come in between so I must be doing something right.

I like walking and a dog is very good company. I take the dog I am looking after for 4/5 twenty minute walks each day.

The dog I am looking receives the same love and attention as I gave to my own dog when he was here.
