Hi there! Im Kate :) I am 19 years of age and have been playing Piano since the age of 6 and Singing pretty much since I came out the womb. Ive taken lessons in piano before to deepen my knowledge and skills. I can also read music. I have belonged to many bands in which I sing and studied music at college as an A Level. Singing is a great passion of mine and I would love to teach young ones who share my passion and bring it into a new generation.
I teach piano to beginners and more advanced pupils, children and adults. I have been teaching since I left music college in 2002 and believe that the most important thing for motivation is to play music that you enjoy and want to be able to play. So I teach classical, light jazz, film music, anything that you want really! I'm more than happy to find specific tunes, and to work with chords as well as written music. I offer online lessons as well as lessons at my house.
