Hi my name is Allyssa and I am a teacher specialising in music. I have and undergraduate degree in music where I specialised in vocals. I also have a primary PGCE and have taught peripatetically for over 5 years. I have taught all ages.
I can teach beginners and intermediate level pianists with their piano playing and their theory! I have completed Grades 1, 2, 3&4 in Piano, however I currently play to a grade 6-7 level I have an A in GCSE Music, and have just completed my A level in Music (currently waiting on my results) During year 13, I ran a music theory club for the younger years in which I helped them with their theory such as key signatures, note reading scales ect.
I have reached the top grade on saxophone and am now a 8 saxophonist and have been playing for 7 years. I'm looking to teach beginners and I'm looking to become a qualified music teacher. I also have my grade 5 music theory which I can use in lessons to help students have a wider understanding of music. I am looking to raise money for a educational trip to Kenya where I will be helping local schools and school children and want to raise money for supplies for them.
