Hi! My name is Amy, I'm 21 years old and a University student. I am from Germany and German and English are my native languages. I worked as a tutor in school and am passionate about helping and teaching children. I am a very patient, reliable and caring person.
I teach piano to beginners and more advanced pupils, children and adults. I have been teaching since I left music college in 2002 and believe that the most important thing for motivation is to play music that you enjoy and want to be able to play. So I teach classical, light jazz, film music, anything that you want really! I'm more than happy to find specific tunes, and to work with chords as well as written music. I offer online lessons as well as lessons at my house.
Piano grade 5, GCSE qualifications ( so able to help with primary homework and some secondary)
