Home help for seniors living in Lathbury

Hello. My name is Kathlyn and I have cared for my grandmother over a year ago for about six months. I helped her with her feeds and medications both taking them and taking the right amounts but also ordering them and bringing them into the house and putting them in the right places around the house as she had a tracheotomy from her first cancer so she had something called a peg in her stomach so that she could feed through a tube into her stomach and I helped to wash and dry her hair and help...

I have experience of dementia/Alzheimer’s as a family member suffers from it. This means I understand how it affects families as a whole. I currently live away from my family and have seen how lonely it can be for older people, this is my way of ‘pay it forward’.
