Home help for seniors living in Rodbourne

Hello, I would love to help the older generation! They all need support and love.

Hi, I'm Amy and I am 16 years old. I currently help out an elderly woman of 80 years old by taking her dog for a walk on weekday evenings, however, I also do little jobs for her such as shopping, making her a cup of tea, filling up jugs, and some odd jobs as well. If her dog is staying with a friend then I will still go round and sit with her to keep her company in the evenings and have a cup of tea with her!

I am a cheerful and friendly person, I enjoy meeting new and interesting people, I like to be clean and tidy and often help my grandparents with their housework and shopping.

As a confident and reliable young woman, my instincts have always been to help others if I can. In the past when my grandad was very ill, I helped him with eating and kept him company when I visited. I'd like to think that even though it didn't help him get better, it made him happier as he struggled with cancer. I now realise that helping elderly people is something I would benefit a lot from.
