I have held positions as Head of Humanities for most of my teaching career, and teach and externally examine up to A level. I am also a teacher trainer. I have received 3 Outstanding Ofsteds for teaching and leadership, and I have published work for the Department of Aeducation. I hold an Advanced Diploma in SEN
I have recently worked as a tutor for a year 10 boy, I tutored him in maths. Whilst I tutored him he moved up from the bottom set and his attitude towards maths, his teacher and the lessons at school changed. He is now working towards getting at least a C in his exams. I am proud of the work done with him and have a wonderful recommendation from his mother. I am organised and feel I have the skills to connect to a student and make them want to study!
