Libby, childcare in Edinburgh EH3

During summers I have worked in operations for large summer schools of up to 500 residential students at a time. Helping to coordinate their stay from individual activity and class plans, room and dietary requirements, additional trips, and also be ready for an emergency at any point. I've coordinated activities for 2-3 students and for up to 1200.

As Centre Manager, I learned to be adaptable as I was responsible for my residential team and all students 24/7. As CM, I was the main point of contact for head office, students, and suppliers, along with the day-to-day running of the centre supporting the students.

My university studies in International Politics and Intelligence Studies has also been a huge driver in pushing me to pursue my goals in working in a global environment and helped me organise my time for multiple deadlines. Along with university deadlines, my commitment to my cheerleading team from winning national competitions and taking a place on the committee within 8 months of joining. As well as this, I have been an active part of university life, taking part in varsity, and participating and volunteering for other university-wide events including rugby 7s.

I have worked a PA role for a CEO with additional administrative tasks and projects. I have organised international travel, meetings, and managed multiple diaries of managers. Most recently have been working in events for an Edinburgh based 4star hotel.
