My name is Klaudia I have been in Bellerive FCJ Catholic College for five years.

I am currently in year 12 studying in Life Sciences UTC I am currently studying A-level psychology, sociology and English literature.
I am hardworking and motivated I have had previous experiences supporting this for example I wanted to exceed my target grades. When I was studying Core Science my target grade was a D however I wanted to achieve a Grade B and I successfully achieved this. Due to doing independent studies inside and outside of school as well as attending extra-curricular sessions. I am motivated to do more than the minimum because I know I am capable of achieving more than my target grade.
I am a good communicator due to being bilingual in addition to this I have studied three languages in my GCSEs which are English, Polish and French. I have also attended a Saturday school to learn subjects in Polish to extend my knowledge in school subjects such as Religious Education, Geography, History, Polish language and Polish literature. And I am also planning to have a career in languages as well as having a job in psychology.
I have completed two weeks of work experience in St Finbar's Catholic Primary school, during those two weeks I was a classroom assistant, I helped Year 2 pupils to read and write in addition to this I have helped pupils that have their second language being English furthermore I was a translator for a pupil by translating for them.
I have currently been volunteering in John Paul II Saturday school, I have been a classroom assistant for seven months now I have ensured to have a safe environment and atmosphere whilst being a classroom assistant I have helped organise events too. Whilst volunteering here I have also helped out extra-curricular sessions such as dance and art. Whilst being in John Paul’s Saturday school I have helped pupils translate words from English to Polish. I helped them with their activities in lessons too.
I am also currently volunteering in helping my local British heart foundation where I have experienced giving customer service in addition to this I ensure to have a safe environment that is well organised and prepared over these previous three months.
I have also completed training on how to provide successful hospitality for your clients by Verve people in addition to this I have received a level 2 certificate for food hygiene and safety. Similarly, I went to the Merseyside Youth Association and I went for JF training for three weeks and I was learning more about the world of work.
In Life Sciences UTC, I have been part of the Greenland team where every person in the team has to be in charge of an area in the laboratory I have been in charge to look after the school fish by regularly feeding the fish and measuring the nitrate levels as well as ensuring the fish having a clear environment. Whilst being part of Greenland I have helped my school when events took place such as helping primary school pupils understand research methods by presenting them a PowerPoint that I have designed for these pupils in addition to this I have done scientific experiments such as measuring nitrate levels in fish tanks of different fish such as Zebra fish, African fish and Amazonian Fish with primary school pupils.
After completing my GCSE examinations, I went to the Merseyside Youth Association. In the Merseyside Youth Association, I went to JF training for three weeks and I was learning more about the world of work.
During my time in Life Sciences UTC I have also took part writing for psychology in a scientific journal where I have to edit extended projects in psychology and condense them into 4 pages to summarise them.
My hobbies include listening to music in different languages, attending to extra-curricular sessions and communicating with people. I have also completed a twelve-week course in the Language House by learning French.
