I personally believe that house sitting is very important as it protects your home from burglary. It also keeps your houseplants alive so that's a bonus. I hope your houseplants live a long, long life. I personally would love to help out as much as possible as I am 15 and in need of quick money constantly, you would swear I had a hole in my pocket. I would say £5 (per hour) is quite a fair charge (except for house sitting, that should be worked out on a daily pay). Also as I am 15 I really need a regular paying job but I am working towards that with little jobs.
