I am an all animals person. I love animals from pets to wild animals. I mostly relate to cats but that's because I have always had cats living with me.

I have had three years experience at reaseheath college which has its own zoo and kennels. During my time there I have been on three different types of placements, in a kennel, Cattery, animal shelter and even at a monkey sanctuary. At college there was an amphibian and reptile room, although I'm not too confident with spiders or snakes but fine with lizards such as bearded dragons and stick insects. I have also cared for rabbits.

I have had six cats previously but now I have one cat...the mother who's amazingly and sadly out lived her kittens, she's around 17 years old. If there's anybody that has an ill pet that they don't want to leave alone while going to work I am happy to sit with them so they are not alone, especially if they are coming to the end. I recently lost my cat that died slowly in front of me which was very sad but I was there with him until the end and it's important to most people that their pets are not on their own especially while I'll and dying.

I have walked big breed dogs previously from Newfoundland dog to small dogs such as terriers but will only be fully confident walking a dog that is good on a lead as I don't want to chance any accidents such as escapes!

I can also give medication, such as ear drops as my cat had ear mites, and can also give tablets with it mixed in with their food. During college I also did simple grooming covering bathing, drying and brushing dogs and have brushed my own cats plenty of times and I have also given my own cats flea drops and groomed the cats as well as treated the environment for parasites, especially fleas to get rid of all the stages.
