My name is Courtney . I'm an 18 year old girl who absolutely adores animals. I have been around dogs all my life as my family has had dogs since I was a baby. Since I was 3 years old, we had a crossbreed (German shepherd/Labrador) named Tyke, as I got older, I often looked after him for my parents when they would go out. I would often take him for walks and feed him as part of my duty of being the owner of him. Tyke started getting old and poorly in the past few years and recently passed away but in his last days, I would take care of him making sure he got up and down the stairs with no harm and making sure he was still happy and playful. I have also had a Springer Spaniel named Kevin for the past 6 years therefore I have experience in looking after him and taking him for walks. Kevin is very powerful on the lead so I have had to train him not to pull when I'm walking him. In between having these dogs, we also own a cat that has had kittens several times so I have had a little bit of experience in looking after kittens and feeding them. After all this, I have a lot of experience in animal care and the main thing is I absolutely love animals and it's less of a job for me because I like to look after them and play with them.
