My name is Amy , I’m 16 years old and I attend sixth form and Bournemouth School for Girls. I have had pets since I was 4 years old, meaning that I’ve had regular and meaningful experience with animals. I’ve had two goldfish, one of which is still living happily at 12 years old, and 3 cats.
My cats Pancake and Sprinkles are sisters who we adopted from the RSPCA. Unfortunately, Sprinkles passed away around 3 years ago after she was hit by a car. The positive of this, however, is that I understand how important and treasured pets are within a family, and how crucial it is to consolidate a safe and friendly environment with them. My new cat, Jasper, who we raised since he was 12 weeks old, is a troublemaker and torments my other cat Pancake endlessly. We have had quite a few incidents were small animals have been brought into the house, and I am entirely comfortable with removing them, whether they are alive or not.
I’ve had plenty of experience with dog walking and sitting, as my aunt and my mother’s close friend both have energetic pups. I am dedicated to cleaning up dog waste as well as any other mess they might make. As a fit and healthy person I can ensure that dogs will have plenty of exercise during walks.
I always aim to ensure that I establish trust between me and the pet that I look after, to maintain a safe, comfortable and fun environment for them to live in.

I understand how expensive animals can be to keep healthy etc. and so I don’t believe petsitting should be expensive. Animal welfare should be first priority.
