I am writing to recommend our babysitter. Katherine has really been a blessing for us, as we are really busy parents. She was a babysitter for our two boys of ages three and seven respectively, since 2010 until 2014. Her specific responsibilities were pick them up from school every day, bring them home, prepare a healthy snack for them and help them with their homework. She was also taking them on short outgoing to the park, the swimming pool, the mall and always enjoyed playing painting and handcrafting with them. She was tutoring Spanish our older son for the last two years and made him love the Spanish language and culture. Katherine is trustworthy, intelligent and very responsible. We have always had the outmost confidence in her judgment and maturity and have always felt comfortable leaving our children in her care. Many times I would come home and find she had taken additional responsibilities of her own volition. The boys are extremely fond of her to say the least. She was not just a good friend to them but also someone they both respected, which is just as important. She is really patient, compassionate and kind. Her love for children and their well being is evident from the way she conduct herself around them. I highly recommend her for any job working with children as I strongly believe she is really well qualified and experienced and that she will be an assist to any family.
