My name is Samantha. I have had animals for a as long as I can remember and love them with a passion! Although I am not a professional petsitter, I am in the process of studying topics such as Dog and Small Animal First Aid, Pet Sitting and Dog Walking, Pet Care and Animal Behaviour.
I have taken care of animals for people in the past such as Dogs, Tortoise, Hamsters, Cats (although I am allergic) and Fish, over a long period of time, as well as having had many of these as pets myself. I currently own a rather handsome and loving Akita, so am aware of the maintenance required for some of the fluffier and more independent animals, as well as the slower and more exotic.
I find myself to be a very caring and nurturing person with a bright personality. Having had work in the care sector, I understand the importance of a positive, trusting and loving relationship between people and believe this is equally as important for animals. I am used to working in an organised manner and am currently starting my studies at the Open University regarding Psychology, and have done so in the past. Some of this requires looking at the behaviour patterns of animals.
