I am 18 years old and have recently moved to Newport to live with my boyfriend. Before this I lived with my parents in Merthyr Tydfil, where I grew up in a vegetarian and animal-loving household. This meant that from a very young age I had all sorts of animals sharing my house e.g. rats, mice, cats, dogs, rabbits etc. Because of this I have always had a lot of responsibility to look after them myself (walking them, feeding them, cleaning out hutches/litter trays, administering medicine and other things) . On top of looking after my own animals I have house-sat for 2 people to look after their pets whilst they have been away, and often do for my parents as well.
I have always loved animals and therefore any job where I can do this would be perfect - I feel that I can be trusted to do everything that is needed and to care for animals well because I care about them a lot as well.
