I stayed on a farm for 25 years so I have a lot of first hand experience of animals : sheep, cows, chickens and particularly dogs.
I have always loved animals of all kinds and I feel this may be due to my nurturing, caring nature as animals require endless patience and a genuine empathy. I stay in the countryside with a large, secure garden surrounded by woodland and open fields which are perfect for dogwalking. I have a wonderful collie dog of my own who has an excellent nature and gets on well with other dogs, two chickens and a cockerel who are secure in their own fully enclosed run within my garden.
