Hi. My names Adam and I am 17 (18 in January) I have always enjoyed spending time with the elderly and hearing their stories.

As previously stated I am working in a local care home that deals solely in dementia. And once I turn 18 they will be paying me to do personal care.

All the elderly I work with are given the best care I can offer. I assist feeding them, keeping them company such as listening to stories and talking to them. And I also play board games.

I can also help with any technological queries that they may have as I understand some of the older generation may not have the knowledge needed.

As I work with those with dementia I know that I have the patience and caring nature required when assisting the elderly.

Finally; I am studying a health and social care level 3 course at NCN so I have an extensive knowledge of personal care
