My name is Soumaya,
From a very young age I have taken interest in caring for others from young children to the elderly. Before my Grandma passed away I used to enjoy assisting her with daily tasks. After she passed one of my ways of coping was doing voluntary work at a care home near my house (Sunrise) - here I did a couple of things one of which was simply providing them with company playing games with them and making them tea or coffee to have a chat. I also assisted them with cleaning/ organising their rooms and also helping them eat. I very much enjoyed my time there and this is the main reason as to why I'm considering working in this field of work again.
