Dalma, home help - CO1 Colchester

My name is Dalma and I am currently a second year A-level student at Colchester Sixth Form College. I am willing to be the company of elderly people for a few hours each week and read for them, talk or play. I am a very good listener and have enough patience to perform these activities. As previous experience I would mention that I have lived together with my grandmother (just us two) for 2 years while I was away for studying and realised how much it means that they have someone to talk to or someone who can help out with simple things such as getting some food for the cats. I would be more than happy to go to a place with pets as well! Other than that, I would really enjoy reading for them whatever book or story they want to hear and also would shop for them regularly if required. I try to adapt to their rules as much as I can and be as reliable as possible. I am available weekdays after 5 pm and weekends.
