Hello, My name is Chelsea, Im 16 years old. I would love to help and give company to elderly people as I can sympathize with everything they do. I enjoy helping others and helping someone would give me a great deal of satisfaction. I have had many experiences with elderly people in my life, since being young I have help look after my grandmother who has a mental illness and needs lots of care and attention so I can handle demanding roles, I have also helped my great grandmother on many occasions when visiting her in Yorkshire, she is 102 years old and impressively still lives on her own! unfortunately I live so far away I cannot help her regularly but I have never felt happier than when making her smile and helping. I am able to cook and clean and carry out house hold chores, I can be very good company and am happy to listen to the experiences other people have had. I use to look after and elderly lady a few streets away who I had met when she unfortunately locked herself out of her house while her family were on holiday, for a long time I would make her tea and listen to stories about her husband who had passed away, and it made me happy when she regularly said I had taken her loneliness away, sadly she had passed away too but I would love to share my kindness with someone else.
