My name is Emma Neil and I am currently studying Health and Social Care at Sunderland College.
My Grandma had Parkinson's so I am used to helping out around the home. Before she passed away, I used to cook and clean for her. I am very good at, and enjoy, baking so I could do that with someone if they wanted to. I helped to feed her when she lost feeling in her hands, so I am comfortable feeding people if they need it. Ironing, doing laundry and cleaning the house is something I have no problem doing as I do these things at home anyway.
I am a very sociable, so making conversation with people is something I am not only good at but greatly enjoy doing. Having the people I'm looking after be happy is something I always aim to do.
