I'm currently doing work experience at Merlin park care home Gosport , and Brookfeild care home , these care homes are very similar the residents have Demetia it is a horrible thing to have they forget a lot of things and they are unable to do things, I go and help out I feed them and I also am the entertainer so I am very easy to get along with I'm very chatty and I know what to do . I am very prefetional in what I do and sometimes I go to work with my mum at merlin park care home and help her out because I like doing it . It makes me so happy because they are so grateful of what I do for them. Also I was a carer for my nan she had early Demetia and she was very forgetful and she was very clumsy my mum works nights so I had to go and help her I used to take her out in her weel chair and take her shopping and then I used to make her a cup of tea and something to eat she meant to the world to me. I think it's such a reward to do something like this because helping the elderly is an amazing thing to do.

I charge £7.00 a hour because I don't think it's much and personality I love looking after people so I think it's a brilliant thing to do and a lot of people tell me that I should be asking for a lot more but I dont because I enjoy what I do.
