I am a 17 year old girl, currently studying Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and German at East Norfolk Sixth Form College.
I am naturally helpful, and love making sure people feel okay and are getting all the support they need.
During August 2014, I volunteered to work closely with a group of elderly people suffering from dementia. During this time, I got comfortable adapting to different people's needs. My time at this placement, I learned a lot about the subjects elderly people may be sensitive to, and also learned how to work around the differences that come between generations.
I loved knowing I can help, and making a difference, and would love a chance to help elderly people again. I also enjoyed hearing the stories of their childhoods, and I was very glad to hear all the amazing differences between life now and then.
I can cook several meals, and I love cleaning. During my spare time I tend to read a lot, due to always reading to my grandmother.
