My name is Poppy. I have just over 2 years of experience caring for elderly people often with complex physical needs, so requiring help with mobility and/or complex psychological needs e.g. dementia. I have experience with personal care, accompanying on shopping trips/social trips, housekeeping, socialising, administering medication (from blister packs and non-invasive medications) and any other tasks required.
I am incredibly passionate about caring for individuals to am able them to live as independently as possible. I find these roles incredibly fulfilling. I enjoy reading, doing jigsaw puzzles/word puzzles, walking and socialising, so have many interests in common with the people I may care for!
