Senior Care assistant. I am currently working in Abbotsbury care home as a senior care assistant. The care home specializes in Dementia, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s, Learning difficulties, Bed bound, schizophrenia and the blind. I am very knowledgeable in caring for people as I have now been doing this for over four years. My job roles include providing confidentiality, privacy and dignity to the residents at all times, helping service users maintain and develop social, occupational and personal skills, health and safety, infection control regulations, data protection. I am able to work within unpredictable circumstances and with challenging people. I can remain calm in difficult situations, and have experience with service users with serious offending behaviors. Two nights a week I am the cleaner in the home, I am required to keep the home impeccable and have full understanding of COSHH. I have experience with helping feed people, shopping for people and keeping them company :)
