My name is Phoebe and I am a recent university graduate, now working in the NHS.
I have always been a very caring and compassionate individual, which led me to my job as a healthcare assistant during the pandemic. During this time, I worked in both residential home for the elderly as well as physical disability home, where I was able to work to support people with a variety of different needs. My job role involved providing personal care (washing, dressing etc, assistance using the toilet etc.), assisting with meals if necessary, providing company and activities for residents to enjoy, and odd cleaning/organising jobs as asked by our residents. I thoroughly enjoyed this role and the opportunity I had to work with people, as well as to learn about the lives of different residents.
During my time in this role (just under 3 years), I completed all of my training and refresher training regularly and more recently, within my role in the NHS, I completed my immediate life support training.
I have been described as a kind, energetic, bubbly, and nurturing person and I always strive to give back to my community!
