I'm a 20-year-old young woman from Finland and I study Education and English literature here in Hastings. I'm usually described as happy and easy going and a warm smile is never far away form my face.

I used to work in a cafe in my hometown in Finland and the favourite moments in my working day were always the amazing conversations I had with the local elderly.

So many good stories to tell that too often are left untold for the lack of a listener. With me these stories and life lessons won't go to waste. If you are not in a talkative mood, I can tell my own stories and share bits of my own life if you're interested. If not, I could read your favourite stories to you (or stories and books form my Uni course). Oral tradition is diminishing and we all should try to do our bit to prevent that!

While living in Finland I used to help my grandparents with their beehives. I'd stay with them for a couple of weeks during harvest season and those weeks would often be the highlight of my summer.

I might not be able to do much, but sometimes the company is all you need!
