Hi my name is Brydie, I am 21 years old and have recently graduated university with a degree in sociology. I am very passionate about helping others, and making people feel happy.
I believe everyone deserves a good quality of life and whilst I may not have academic or relevant experience in the care sector i have seen what age and/or illness can do to a person. They should be able to find a friend, a guide, a sort of therapist if you will- in the person caring for them. The quality of care is not defined by qualifications but the passion to give something back to people, take care of someone who needs a little extra attention and assist a family in easing their mind regarding a loved one.
Hopefully these are qualities people look for in carers and assistants, as I would like to think that given the chance I could prove just how dedicated and hard working I could be. And, how helpful and encouraging to the individual in question of course
