I'm an animal lover, I had one dachshund for 17 years and I have another younger one but he lives with my parents now, I had a parrot and some reptiles so I have experience... my house has a big garden and a shed in case that I need to look after the dog during the night, I have free time during the day too in case that I have to walk your pet!
