Emma, host family for a dog in Tarleton

I am Emma, 26, a Spa Therapist at the Vincent. I am looking for side work alongside my current job.

I have lots of experience with animals.

Horses: I have volunteered at Jigsaw stables, Mawdsley, exercising, feeding, and grooming the rescue horses. Throughout school and college I would nightly share caring and exercising for a local pony. I have been riding since I was 4 years old and I have attended workshop days in the past on horse care. I also hold experience in massage and have used this in the form of t-touch on horses / ponies with great results. I love horses and this has been a great way to have them in my life, since I can not afford my own.

Dogs/ cats: I have experience in looking after both. I have grown up with cats. In school I attended a work experience placement in meresands cattery and dog kennels. So I have experience of bathing dogs, walking and general cleaning, grooming and care for these pets.

Rabbits, Chickens, fish, guinea pigs: I have my own rabbit and my previous rabbits we used to breed. Likewise with our chickens. So lots of hands on experience here. I have also been the proud owner of many fish. I have also owned previously guinea pigs.

I have a generous back garden which is left slightly over grown for my rabbit. It is rabbit proof. We keep her in a dog kennel but she is free to roam around the garden and hop into our living room as she keenly likes to sit by the French window, hop in and lie under our coffee table! We have two rescue cats and they are used to rabbits, guinea pigs and chickens and they get along happily. We have a spare hutch and we also own an igloo with a run (chickens). I also have a hamster cage because I used to have one, along with its toys. Our home is very spacious and the cats are allowed in all rooms. They are accepting of other animals.

I have a great love for animals and enjoy looking after them, they would be spoilt and in great hands! I also drive and can commute to sit/ walk/ look after your pets outside of my working hours.
