My name is Irene Zarza and I am a PhD student at the University of York looking for a part-time job.
I have an undergraduate degree in English Studies by the University of Valencia and an MLitt in Literature and Culture by the University of St Andrews.
I am private tutor with years of experience teaching children of several ages as well as adults.
I have been learning languages from a young age and I have been bilinguial in Spanish and Catalan since I was a child. I have studied English since I was at school and have lived in London and St Andrews for two years.
While in London, studying my year abroad at University College London, I gained some experience in teaching English as a second language and acquired the CELTA Certificate by Cambridge. I am also familiar with the different English language exams offered by the British Council and Cambridge.
Currently I am learning Italian and French.
My passion towards languages has allowed me to understand and provide easier and more flexible methods to my students, focused on their particular needs and what they seek in learning a language.
