Education marks the biggest change and growth we see in children as they progress and grow up. Every child approaches and progresses through education in their own way and all we can do, as parents and teachers, is guide them and support them along this journey.
Whilst doing work experience as a teaching assistant in a local school, I discovered the absolute joy of working in education with children and helping them to obtain skills relevant to thrive in our our modern society. Since, I have been looking to provide my services to give parents and children the support necessary to excel academically whilst making sure they enjoy the experience at the same time.
Achieving 5 A*'s, 4 A's and 3 B's in my GCSE's (including two A*'s in English language/literature and a B in mathematics), I am currently progressing in my A-level studies in English literature, philosophy, history and politics. Whilst at school, I was awarded with the inclusion of my name on the school's 'Outstanding Academic Progress' board, an award I feel exemplifies my belief that education should be a process of growth; through determination and hard-work, academic achievement is accessible to absolutely anybody. My goal is to provide that determination and willingness to achieve to any child willing to simply try.
Skilled in a multitude of subject areas, I am flexible in my approach to supporting students and am willing to work with them in whatever area they require. A list of my full GCSE results follows:
English literature: A*
English language: A*
Mathematics: B
Physics: A
Chemistry: B
Biology: B
History: A*
Geography: A*
Law: A
Applied Business: A
Ethics & Philosophy: A*
I hope my academic achievements thus far and my enthusiasm for helping young people provides adequate expression of my enjoyment in this area. I truly wish to make a difference in helping young people to be successful during their time in education and to help prepare them sufficiently for the challenges of the modern world.
Thank you,
Keane
