I am currently a Maths tutor for GCSE students preparing for their exam. I achieved an A in my own Maths GCSE. I then took Maths further into A Level and achieved a C grade, however, I am retaking an exam in the hopes of increasing that to a B grade. I charge more for Maths tuition, as that is my strongest subject.
I have been doing Economics as an A Level, and am aiming for a B grade. I have a good knowledge of what to study (and may, in some case, be able to tutor AS Economics students), but it is not as strong as my Maths tutoring will be, therefore I will charge less.
I took Geography for my GCSEs, achieving a B in the Controlled Assessment, and an A and a C in the exams; overall averaging as a B. Though not as strong a subject for me as Maths and Economics, I can give good advice, revision techniques, help them with their homework, and possibly mentor GCSE students, but I will also be able to help those studying Geography at a lower level, such as pre-GCSEs.
I achieved a C grade at GCSE, however, I have a good knowledge of History itself; it is something that I have always been passionate about. Therefore, I will be able to give advice and teach students revision techniques, as well as help them with their homework.
