I am a qualified registered general nurse and have worked as a full-time nurse in the hospital here for 11 years - I have work in units like Gastro ward, acute elderly unit, medical assessment unit and, the longest years I have worked on, in the elderly rehabilitation Unit. I have ban work experience working in Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, which is mainly a pre and post op and assesses, net surgical speciality hospital. I'm working currently as an agency nurse and also on 22 hours shift work at a nursing home just a walking distance away from where I live.
I am looking for a few more extra hours work and have always wanted to do home care work looking after the elderly.
I am very patient and flexible worker. I take pride in doing my job well and properly. I love looking after elderly people and love listening to them telling stories, mostly because they remind me me of my parents and grandparents back home and it makes me feel like - although they are not here in this country - that I am kind of looking after them somehow.
I am a good team worker but also don't mind at all, and have experience too, working autonomously either.
I'm paid in my current part time and agency work between £14.50 to £17 per hour and I wish to stay within this bracket
