Through working over the years in customer service, caring for ill/vulnerable people, caring for young children, practice placement for 4 years, and 6 months of work as a newly qualified radiographer I have developed transferable skills such as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. I work hard to achieve the solution to a problem in a timely manner. With language competency in Urdu, Punjabi, and English I can aid in reducing language barriers. I’m a patient centred person, who is able to build a rapport with patients, staff and families very easily.

I have done many consultations throughout practice placement, and my previous workplace as a radiographer.
This experience taught me to be patient with every individual, assess each patient individually, and meet their physical and psychological needs, resulting in better patient care outcomes. I have always kept well within the legal and ethical boundaries of my profession, whether that’s as a carer or as a radiographer. I have always worked safely; following all rules and regulations.

I have a work history of being polite and punctual, performing well under pressure; and can adapt to work quickly in changing environments. I am an effective team member and believe that every member in a team is accountable. I am a well presented, hardworking individual who is determined to make a positive difference to people’s lives. I believe being trustworthy to look after vulnerable people, build constructive relationships with the people you caring for as well as their families and being there to listen and offer companionship, is a very rewarding job.
