I'm a 25 year-old teacher based in Leeds. I love working with children and adults alike and I am patient and kind. I have experience working with children of all ages having helped out with younger siblings, nieces and nephews and having worked in the local primary school as a teaching assistant for one year. My role at the school involved working with children within the classroom and at break and lunch times as well as taking individual children and groups of children out of class to work on English skills. Many of these children were new to English or had English as a second language and some were English children who needed a little extra help. I have undergraduate and masters degrees in Childhood Studies from University of Leeds thus meaning I have a deep understanding of the national curriculum as well as the differing ways in which children learn. I am looking to do a TEFL course and have completed some online modules. I am OFSTED registered with a full 12 hour paediatric first aid certificate and full DBS check.
