In this role as a teaching assistant, I was responsible for monitoring the behaviour of the students whilst providing support for the teaching staff. I worked one on one with students who were struggling, in certain areas including reading and maths, I had to be supportive so that they felt comfortable and explains things clearly so that they would understand.
