Amelia, private tutor in Northampton NN1

Hello there! My name is Amelia and I am a 21 year old drama diploma student with an extensive background in performing arts and speech and drama. I started LAMDA examinations at age 6 where I managed to achieve a Distinction, and have done so in every grade up to Diploma level. I have also part taken in ESB exams from a young age, where I would give talks to large audiences about a favourite topic and be graded accordingly.

I have a real passion for reading and literature, having chosen Thomas Hardy and the 19th century as my topic of choice for my Performance Studies Pcert Lam where I talked for forty five minutes on my theme, and performed a dramatic piece, a poem and a prose piece and was then asked a series of questions on my research of the 19th century and its writers.
I have performed on many stages throughout the years, such as the Royal Theatre and the Castle Theatre where I played speaking roles in various pantomimes and shows.

As I grew up my passion for drama and dance grew and I excelled at both during school, and went on to complete my A level in Drama Studies at Northampton School for Boys and achieved a B.
My dance experience also goes back to the stage where I competed in national competitions and came second and first for my 'song and dance' numbers. I also went on to win the award of 'Young Actress of the year' and my name is engraved on the Judith Murray shield.
I have helped out at my drama teachers' studio for the past few years with her students while they practised for exams and drama festivals.
I offer one to one tutoring of drama and intermediate dance training as I am qualified in ISTD up to grade 6 in Ballet, Tap and Modern.
