Hello, I'm a former university and senior school teacher of French and, to a lesser extent, German. In addition, I'm a freelance translator. I've taught in France, the US, Quebec and Austria prior to moving to the UK. My priority when tutoring is to make my pupils/students feel comfortable speaking and asking all kinds of questions (even questions they might think are stupid), as well as to customize my teaching to match their learner profiles. I like to make my lessons fun by playing games of all sorts (role plays, board games etc.). I strongly believe that we all need to be emotionally settled to be able to learn, so I also strive to offer compassionate care to the pupils and students who I decide to take lessons with me.
