I have recently completed a PhD in Music at the University of Manchester. I love teaching and I am eager to teach piano at a beginners-intermediate level. I have 1 years teaching experience in a secondary school in Ireland teaching music, geography and german. I have 3 years experience as a graduate teaching assistant teaching students at undergraduate level music at the University of Manchester.
I am patient, kind, funny and enthusiastic about music and art. I will tailor the class to your child's needs whether they are just a little bit curious about piano or are really eager to develop their skills.
I have grade VIII piano with the Royal Irish Academy of Music, a Higher Diploma in Music from the University of Cork, an MA in Music technology from the University of Limerick and a PhD in Electroacoustic composition from the University of Manchester. At the moment I am a freelance composer and researcher working on a commission from the PRS Women Make Music Fund.
I can come to your house or the student can come to my house. I am very flexible and can arrange lessons around your schedule.
