I am an Assistant Adjunct Lecturer and a Graduate Student at the University of Kent, where I am currently completing a PhD in Film Studies.
I have a BA from the University of Michigan in Film and English Literature with a minor in Screenwriting and an MA in Media Studies from the University of Amsterdam. My research focuses on the intersection between science and the humanities, so prepared to cover all topics from 0-15 years-old.
I have experience teaching Film Studies as well as teaching ESL for students aged 4 to adult.
I'm American, but I can write and instruct in both American and British English and help with essay writing, citation styles, and creative projects like screenwriting (my specialty!) and video and filmmaking (a love of mine).
I'm a motivated teacher able to find unique approaches to teaching every individual child or young adult. As a life-long student myself, I think learning is fun and I like to show others how much fun it can be!
