Hi, my name is Megan and I'm a 21 year old currently working towards my masters in history at uclan, with the future desire to become a teacher. I myself have had tutor throughout my academic life and found them to be of great help and support, therefore I know the importance of the role of a tutor. Although I have no teaching qualifications as of yet, I have supported my younger brother throughout his GCSE with various revision techniques and study skills. I have also done numerous voluntary work within primary and secondary educational sectors; this have given me the ability to differentiate work to meet the needs of individual pupils and their learning styles. It is import as a tutor to build a positive relationship with each pupil and is import the pupil feels comfortable with their tutor; because of this I feel it is vital to offer a free meeting, no obligation meeting, to discuss desired outcomes.
