I am a volunteer teacher of various subjects for over 20 years and successfully gained a TEFL qualification, I was also offered recently the position of an English teacher at a private school in Mantova .
My approach to pedagogy is simply student centered , understanding what drives and matters to them , using activities , challenges and discussions to make the lesson fully engaging and enjoyable for the student .

I recently passed the Learn TEFL Master 150 hours
course which was such an enjoyable learning experience,
teaching me skills such as eliciting , concept checking
, arranging pair work and how to plan and present
language activities, there were modules training me to
teach grammar , young learners , showing a variety of
activities and materials , also testing and assessment , the
tutorial video resources were especially helpful to give
me practical real life experience of using materials and
skills in the classroom , the course has given me so much
confidence and enthusiasm to teach English , i just can't
wait to get started ! I have also gained an NVQ 2 as a
Steward , qualifying me to Supervise concerts and
Football or Rugby stadiums , it has also assisted me in
qualifying to become a Special needs Captain which is a
demanding and Sensitive role looking after the elderly
and disabled at Sport arenas , I have to organise and
train about 50+ Volunteers to act as carers during a 3 Day
Event at the Cardiff motorpoint arena every year . It
involves planning , decisive thinking clear instructions
and Sensitive communication but ultimately such a
rewarding experience , due to the empathy learned and
friendships gained .
I also qualified to become a minister over 20 yrs ago , it
involves teaching and pastoral care which has improved
my communication skills , empathy and adaptability .
I have also qualified to become a Cleaning captain of a
venue that has 2 one day events that are attended by
about 800 people , my role is to organise and
communicate clearly to 3 teams of 20 vols where they
clean and how to clean the designated areas . This role
involves teamwork with my assistant , clear instructions ,
everyone being familiar with their tasks and good
cooperation .

I successfully built up a thriving window cleaning business , selling some of the business 11 years ago , afterwards
gathering customers in higher earning areas , Customer care, building good relationships, reliability and quality of
cleaning have been the pillars of my business .

I would be very happy to be given the opportunity to teach English in a patient and creative way .
