I am a reliable individual who has had many years of personal experience with elderly people. This has given me the ability to be organised and multi-task as well as working under pressure. I am able to understand and meet the needs of individuals. I trust my enthusiasm and confidence would be compatible with the necessary environment. I am also a rapid learner with a great deal of excitement in all my activities which has allowed me to enhance my communication skills, as I am able to develop and maintain relationships. I can work within a team, as well as on my own. My personal experiences have taught me how to work quickly and efficiently. In addition, I am a caring and patient individual as I have been caring for my father for the past 9 years on my own, he had dementia and had suffered from a stroke. I was his carer thus I was responsible for ensuring any bills were paid, that he had eaten and taken his medication. I would also take him on outings and give him company. I am an adaptable and responsible individual, with flexibility. I am outgoing and friendly. As a single mother I am self-motivated, committed and hard working. I am able to interact with a wide range of people. I’m also bilingual as I can speak, English, Urdu, Mirpuri and Punjabi.
