After Spending most of my working life in catering, latterly working in Residential Homes for the Elderly I have to say I really enjoy the company of elderly people. I am honest, reliable, patient and willing to help in any way I can to make someone's life more comfortable. My own mother is 89 years old and in good health both physically and mentally, though my sisters and myself often visit and take her out if she needs it, though as I said she is quite independent. I was brought up to respect my elders and can honestly say that some of the most important lessons I have learned in my life, have come from people who are older and wiser. I am a good listener too and would feel privileged to work with the elderly.
