My reason for applying for this post is because of my caring nature. I love caring for people and have always done. When growing up as a child when I was 13 I witnessed a family member go through some traumatic experiences in the hospital and I was there with her every step of the way. I even said one day I will become a nurse after seeing the great jobs the nurses did for her. Later on down the line before my Nan passed away I was her allocated carer and through looking after my late grandmother she showed me where my heart is and how much i actually do adore helping people who cannot help themselves.
In my day to day job role I also counsel individuals with wise words. I assist with personal care help, or if they are competent enough to do it themselves I will assist them with independency. I deal with service user’s paper work, medication, money and day to day lifestyle routines.
This job role is another career boost for me as for the past 6 years I have been working in the health care industry dealing with 1 to 1 cases and seeing the patients shine. Given the chance to make a change in someone else’s life within your job role will not only be a job to me but a helping hand to the individual.
The qualities i have as an individual are knowing how to show a great face even when things are not great, i am very empathetic and sympathetic. I love encouraging individuals and being positive. I am excellent at interacting, I always put the needs of patients first and know how to treat each service user as an individual according to their needs. I am great with time keeping and multitasking.
My strengths are firstly happiness, Honesty is what i stand for and i am not a quitter i will always try again no matter what.
I can offer outstanding performances, I put my all into everything i do especially when i am passionate about my job.
