I currently work in a residential home working nights which I have been in for 19 months now. I am currently working towards my nvq level 2 in social care. I have also worked in a nursing home of 3 years previous to where I am now.
As I work nights where I am now it's just making suppers and drinks and then assisting to bed if needed. Checking everyone who is in bed is OK with 2 hourly checks. And if call bells go off to assist them to the toilet whilst keeping full dignity intact
