Having gained experience over the years previously working within the community for both Age Concern and the Social Services covering many aspects of everyday life from shopping to cooking to personal care.iI have a natural rapport with the older generation and a understanding of what even sharing a cup of tea and a little companionship can mean to someone who lives alone or is struggling to care for their partner.
My own personal experience is that of helping to care for my father in his latter years as he suffered the harrowing effects of parkinsons and Althseimers disease and how it effected both myself as a individual and that as a family allows me to have emphaphy with those going through the same experience.
