Damia, senior home help in Dartford DA1

My name is Damia and I am a full time student at DSTC. I study health and social care which has helped me understand care homes more effectively. I am interested in working with the elderly as I find them the kindest people going. I am willing to keep the elderly company as they would really appreciate it and having someone to talk to can make them feel at ease and more happy.
I find myself to be a very confident person when It comes to meeting new people, I always ensure to make the individual feel comfortable whilst talking to them. I am nice and caring person and always think about others and how they are doing which is why working with the elderly would be a great opportunity because I will be considerate about their main needs and understanding.
Furthermore, I have visited a care home in Temple hill where I got to experience the surroundings and the atmosphere in the care home as well as interviewing the elderly myself due to a school project.
I am studying health and social care where I am focusing on the elderly. I have established how care homes create a positive care environment and what is need to be done in order to create this.
